Taj Gibson and the Washington Wizards have agreed to a one-year deal. The deal is anticipated to be for the veteran minimal for Gibson.
Gibson cleared waivers on Sunday after being launched by the New York Knicks. New York needed to waive Gibson as a part of clearing wage cap area to signal free agent level guard Jalen Brunson.
Gibson has spent the final three seasons with the Knicks. General, the veteran huge man has logged 13 seasons within the NBA. The Wizards had been on the lookout for one other huge and a veteran presence for his or her locker room. Gibson will now fill each of these roles for Washington.
