The 2022 Serbia Open, an ATP 250 clay-court occasion, can be held from April 18 to April 24 on the Novak Tennis Middle.
World no.1 Novak Djokovic can be joined by yet another High 10 participant, Andrey Rublev, who is about to make his Belgrade debut.
The draw has been made on Saturday. Novak is a prime seed and can open his bid for 87th tour-level title in R2 in opposition to the winner of an all-Serbian encounter between Hamad Medjedovic and Laslo Djere.
Novak’s potential rivals within the later phases of the event are:
Quarter-finals: Miomir Kecmanovic (SRB, 7), Dominic Thiem (AUT)
Semi-finals: Karen Khachanov (RUS, 3), Filip Krajinovic (SRB, 8)
Finals: Andrey Rublev (RUS, 2), Aslan Karatsev (RUS, 4), Cristian Garin (CHI, 5), Fabio Fognini (ITA, 6)
Novak has gained the title in his hometown twice (2009, 2011).
Final 12 months, when the ATP Tour returned to Belgrade for the primary time in 9 years, Novak fell to Aslan Karatsev within the semi-finals.
