Sean O’Malley feeling ‘further assured’ heading into UFC 280 towards Petr Yan

Yan (16-3) is the top-ranked contender within the division. O’Malley (15-1, 1 NC) is ranked No. 12. Yan is favorited to win by oddsmakers, however O’Malley expects to defy the chances in Abu Dhabi.
“I’m telling you proper now, I’ll beat Pete October twenty second, 2022,” O’Malley said in a video posted to his YouTube channel. “Each battle I’m going into I’m very assured. I simply really feel further assured going into this battle.”

“I believe it’s an excellent matchup for me,” O’Malley mentioned. “However truthfully, it doesn’t matter who I’m preventing. I might be preventing Aljo (Aljamain Sterling). I might be preventing T.J. (Dillashaw). I might be preventing any of the highest within the UFC proper now and I’d really feel assured.”
“Going into this battle, I legit simply really feel higher than I’ve ever felt,” he continued. “My prediction? I beat his ass.”
