CHICAGO – College of Chicago’s top-ranked girls’s tennis program cruised to an undefeated 9-0 victory over Washington College – St. Louis on Saturday on the XS Tennis Middle.
The Maroons continued their undefeated run in 2023 with a sweep of College Athletic Affiliation (UAA) foe WashU at dwelling. Sylwia Mikos and Shianna Guo gained at No. 1 doubles 8-2 whereas teammates Perene Wang and Claudia Ng defeated their competitors 8-6 at No. 2 doubles.
Brooke Pedersen and Nicole Geller aided UChicago to a sweep with an 8-4 win within the No. 3 doubles slot. Mikos swept her singles competitors as properly within the prime slot, profitable 6–2, 6-2. Guo additionally gained in straight units at No. 2, 6-3, 6-1.
