David Moyes says he has not been overly impressed by West Ham summer time signing Flynn Downes to this point and calls for higher.
West Ham signed the midfielder on a five-year contract from Swansea through the present window, in a deal understood to be price round £12m, reported the BBC.
The Hammers beat Crystal Palace to the signing of Downes earlier this summer time and it was seen as an actual coup on the time however Moyes doesn’t appear very impressed by the 23-year-old to this point.
The Englishman is known to be combating the step up from the Championship and even described the transition as a ‘wake-up name’ by way of the Evening Standard.
Now Moyes has commented on the participant’s state of affairs.
Downes, Moyes insists, will want time like so many others he has taken on from the Championship over time.
“I believe we have to give him a little bit of time,” Moyes mentioned concerning the 23-year-old in his pre-Brighton presser.
“As I mentioned, he would have performed (towards Viborg) if it wasn’t for his toe.
“The issues I’ve seen of him, he must do higher and we’re already (engaged on these issues).
“However we’ll get him a recreation once we can. All of the gamers need to earn it and I’ve to discover a manner of profitable a lot of the video games.”
