A bunch of MLB gamers will do one thing that hasn’t been completed in 100 years after they journey to South Korea to play in a four-game “Korea Sequence” in November.
According to a report from The Athletic, the showcase can be hosted in Busan on the Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium on Nov. 11 and 12 and at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on Nov. 14 and 15. The final time MLB gamers traveled to South Korea to play video games was in 1922.
“Main League Baseball is worked up to journey to Busan and Seoul for this historic sequence,” MLB chief operations and technique officer Chris Marinak stated in an announcement. “This tour is the following step of MLB’s plan to ship common baseball occasions in Korea within the coming years and follows our upcoming Dwelling Run Derby X, scheduled for September seventeenth in Seoul. … South Korea’s wealthy baseball custom has produced many achieved Main League gamers, together with All-Stars Chan Ho Park and Shin-Soo Choo, in addition to present Blue Jays pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu and Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi. We thank J-One and the KBO for partnering with us and the MLBPA on this nice occasion.”
The “Korea Sequence” is a part of the MLB World Tour, a world slate of video games performed in Asia, Mexico, Latin America and Europe via the 2026 season.
