JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – Husson College’s males’s golf group sits in a three-way tie for tenth place of 24 groups with a group card of 290 after the primary spherical on the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate Championship, held on the Paradise Level Golf Membership.
Husson was lead by sophomore Will Kavanaugh, who shot a 70 to complete day one tied for sixteenth place in a discipline of 120 golfers. Sophomore Chris Kauppila tied for twenty seventh after carding a 71, whereas junior Max Woodman completed spherical one with a rating of 73 and is at present tied for forty fifth. Sophomore Jack King sits in an eight-way tie for 67th with a 76. Rounding out discipline for the Eagles was junuor Cade Charron who carded a 78 and tied for 81st.
The Eagles performed on the Paradise Level Scarlett Course, with a par 70, and tomorrow will play on the Paradise Level Gold Course, with a par 72.
Husson returns to the hyperlinks tomorrow for spherical two of the Camp Lejeun Intercollegiate Championship.
