WHEATON, In poor health. – The College of Chicago wrestling workforce scored a pair of twin meet victories over Wheaton School and Aurora College on Saturday afternoon.
The Maroons improved their twin meet report to 2-1 on the season.
UChicago began the day with a 35-11 win over host Wheaton. The Maroons prevailed in seven of the ten matches. Proper afterwards, they took down Aurora 40-8. UChicago put up eight victories versus the Spartans.
5 completely different Maroons picked up two wins apiece. Wyatt Haynes pinned each of his 184-pound opponents within the first interval. Ryan Fleck (149 kilos) tallied a pair of technical falls with scores of 18-4 and 19-1. Drew Vlasnik secured wins of 10-5 and 14-1 at 157 kilos. Darian Estevez (165 kilos) compiled one forfeit and an 18-6 main determination. Danny Lingen recorded a second-period pin at 285 kilos and a forfeit victory at 197 kilos.
