Lina Lansberg proclaims retirement after UFC Vegas 69 loss
On Saturday, 40-year-old Lina Lansberg stepped into the Octagon for the final time. Following her second-round submission loss to Mayra Bueno Silva, she introduced her retirement.
“Thanks a lot for all of the love and help,” she wrote on Instagram. “This has been a hell of a journey and to start out preventing is one of the best factor I’ve ever executed. It has given me so a lot. However now it’s time to maneuver on. I’m executed.”
Lansberg ends her profession on a four-fight loss with an general 10-8 MMA file. She made her UFC debut in 2016 when she confronted Cris “Cyborg” Justino. After the loss to Justino, she would go win-loss till placing collectively her first back-to-back wins with victories over Tonya Evinger and Macy Chiasson in 2019.
