In response to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Los Angeles Lakers have signed two-way energy ahead Wenyen Gabriel to a brand new normal NBA contract.

The 25-year-old participant occupied the empty roster spot created by waiving veteran ahead Trevor Ariza.

Gabriel initially signed a two-way contract with LAL on March 1, 2022, and has appeared in 17 video games (4 begins) for the Lakers this season, averaging 5.7 factors and three.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes.
