Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer has been re-appointed as Punjab Kings (PBKS) batting coach for the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The 44-year-old had beforehand stepped down from his job forward of the IPL 2022 mega-auction in February this 12 months.

In September, PBKS signed Trevor Bayliss as their new head coach rather than Anil Kumble. Earlier this month, Shikhar Dhawan was appointed as the brand new captain by the franchise. Within the 2023 IPL version, Dhawan will exchange Mayank Agarwal who was released by the franchise on Tuesday over the past day of the IPL 2023 player retentions.
PBKS retained 16 gamers and now have INR 32.2 crore remaining of their purse for the mini-auction, which is scheduled to be held on December 23 in Kochi.
