Veteran head coach, Ray Longo has unleashed a scatching response to former interim welterweight champion, Colby Covington after the UFC 296 headliner’s verbal onslaught aimed toward opponent, Leon Edwards forward of their title combat over the weekend, labelling the outspoken contender as “atrocious”.
Headlining UFC 296 over the course of the weekend, Clovis native, Covington suffered a one-sided unanimous resolution (49-46, 49-46, 49-46) loss to Birmingham native Edwards in his third pursuit of undisputed welterweight championship.
Receiving a slew of criticizm forward of his bout with Edwards, Covington was blasted after he poked enjoyable on the homicide of the previous’s father inside a London nightclub, claiming the former crime boss was likely residing in hell – the place he vowed to take Edwards throughout their title combat.

And sharing his ideas on Colby Covington’s feedback, Serra-Longo MMA head coach, Ray Longo hit out on the former, labelling him and his show as “atrocious”.
“I bought completely no use for the man (Colby Covington), in any respect,” Ray Longo stated on the Anik-Florian Podcast. “I simply don’t. Ever since he threatened you (Jon Anik), he is aware of the place you reside, he can go f*ck himself. Couldn’t give a sh*t about that man. What he did with Leon Edwards I believe is atrocious. You understand, there’s selling a combat, then there’s being a complete misfit in life and that’s the best way I see it with that man.”
“…And, man, speak about karma, as a result of what a chunk of sh*t that combat was,” Longo defined. “I imply, the man did completely nothing. And to have the ability to take a pro-Colby crowd, and by the top of the combat have the group towards you – good luck, man man. I hope it was well worth the cash, the additional 25 p.c… I think he cost (Donald) Trump the election, how about that? ‘Oh, Mr. President, Mr. President is right here to observe me. Who do you bought? The Queen of England.’ This motherf*cker referred to as someone a dope? I’d like to see this man’s f*cking school transcripts. He’s a f*cking moron.”
