Gonzaga athletic director Chris Standiford met with the Massive 12 commissioner Brett Yormark final week to debate a possible transfer to the convention, sources instructed Pete Thamel of ESPN.
Gonzaga has reportedly been exploring its convention choices. It has additionally had discussions with the Massive East and the Pac-12, although the extent of these conversations is unknown.
Yormark has spoken about his need so as to add a fourth time zone to the convention.
The Massive 12 can also be nearing a six-year contract extension with its tv companions ESPN and Fox.
The potential of Gonzaga becoming a member of the convention was introduced up in a “cursory” method in contract discussions, although had no impression on the ultimate tv deal.
