Veteran outfielder Kole Calhoun, who spent 12 seasons within the MLB and performed for 4 totally different groups, formally introduced his retirement from baseball on Friday.
In an emotional social media put up, Calhoun thanked his household, the Los Angeles Angels for taking an opportunity on him and baseball followers all world wide.
The 36-year-old Calhoun was chosen by the Angels within the eighth spherical of the 2010 MLB Draft. He made his major-league debut in 2012 and recorded his first hit — a double off of Oakland A’s pitcher Jarrod Parker — in simply his second sport.
