Drivers are handed penalty factors along with sporting penalties if the stewards deem an incident mandatory, with an accumulation of 12 factors over a 12-month rolling interval leading to a race ban.
Kevin Magnussen’s latest spate of punishments has seen the Haas driver transfer perilously near that mark, with 10 factors to his identify – the most recent of which had been added after the Miami Grand Prix.
