Emma Raducanu funnily requested a magic tennis ball if it knew the reply to the query of why there are fixed ball modifications on the WTA Tour. Raducanu, the 2021 US Open champion, was a visitor on Tennis Channel’s Heat & Fuzzy Season 2.
When advised by host Michael Kosta she will ask the magic tennis ball something and it’ll give a solution, Raducanu requested with a smile on her face: “My query for the universe is why are we altering balls every week?” After shaking the magic tennis ball, Kosta learn out the reply: “The reply is: You might be good at tennis.” Raducanu laughed and proceeded to ask: “Is it what it actually says? You might be good at tennis?” Kosta responded: “That is what it says.”

Throughout this previous 2023 season, gamers usually complained concerning the fixed ball modifications.
In the previous few months of the season, that criticism intensified as increasingly more gamers began even claiming that the balls are guilty for the elevated variety of accidents on the ATP and WTA Tour. Most notably, gamers consider that the fixed ball modifications are inflicting wrist, elbow, and shoulder accidents.
Paula Badosa, a former world No 2, reacted in October to an ATP participant claiming the balls are inflicting accidents. “The problem isn’t solely ATP sadly… With the WTA we’re having the identical issues for years as properly.
We want a change from each side,” Badosa wrote on X in October. Raducanu, who turned 21 this month, handled accidents on each wrists.
