The Dodgers blew out the Rockies on Thursday within the sequence finale of a three-game set, 14-3, to take the sequence.
After a one-hour-fifty-minute rain delay at Coors Discipline, the Dodgers didn’t waste one other second to get issues began.
Within the first inning, after shortstop Mookie Betts doubled and a pitch hit Freddie Freeman, J.D. Martinez’s bloop single scored Betts. A number of innings later, Betts doubled to open the third inning, went to 3rd base on Freeman’s sac fly, and scored on Martinez’s line drive single.
The Dodgers All-Stars had issues rolling early.
Within the fourth inning, although, issues went off the rails.
To guide off the fourth, Jason Heyward doubled and Miguel Vargas and James Outman walked to load the bases. Betts’ sac fly scored Heyward, and Freeman’s single scored Vargas.

Max Muncy doubled scoring Outman and Freeman. Then, Martinez blasted a two-run homer, his nineteenth of the season and third of the sequence. That accomplished the six-run inning.

J.D. Martinez has performed it once more.
The day he is named an All-Star starter, he hits his third dwelling run of the sequence and the nineteenth of the season for the Dodgers.

Within the fifth inning, Heyward singled and went to 3rd on a fielding blunder. Betts walked to load the bases. Freeman singled in two. Muncy singled in Betts.
Within the sixth, Vargas tripled in Heyward.
Within the seventh, the Dodgers tacked on two extra runs, courtesy of a Jonny DeLuca pinch-hit RBI single and a Heyward infield hit that he hustled out.
Jason Heyward hustled to leg out an infield single within the high of the seventh inning with the Dodgers up 13-3.
He made it safely and the Dodgers now lead 14-3.

In his 5 innings, Emmet Sheehan allowed just three earned runs — good for Coors Discipline requirements — and obtained the win.
The Dodgers bullpen held issues down, and LA moved to 45-35 on the yr, simply two video games again of the primary place Arizona Diamondbacks within the NL West.
