Devin Carter underwent surgical procedure to restore a torn labrum in his left shoulder on Thursday and will probably be reevaluated in roughly six months.
Carter, who spent the previous two years at Windfall School after transferring from South Carolina, was chosen thirteenth general within the 2024 NBA draft. In 34 games last season with Providence, Carter averaged 19.1 factors, 8.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals in 34.3 minutes.
