The UFC’s fast turnaround return to London continues to construct with the addition of a featherweight bout.
Charles Rosa (14-7 MMA, 5-7 UFC) will make the journey to the U.Okay. from the States to tackle London’s personal Nathaniel Wood (17-5 MMA, 4-2 UFC). Rosa’s administration crew at Iridium Sports activities introduced the matchup Thursday following an preliminary report from Al Zullino. The UFC has not but formally introduced the matchup.
The UFC’s return to London takes place July 23 at The O2. The cardboard is predicted to air on ESPN and stream on ESPN+.
Rosa will likely be seeking to get again on monitor after back-to-back determination losses to Ddamon Jackson and T.J. Brown. Previous to that, he had alternated wins and losses for 11 straight fights, most of which got here within the UFC. His most up-to-date win got here in June 2021 with a break up determination over Justin Jaynes.
Wooden must bounce again, as properly. He’ll be preventing for the primary time since an October 2020 determination loss to Casey Kenney in Abu Dhabi.
