Anthony Davis stated that he was approaching this season with the Los Angeles Lakers with an underdog mentality throughout media day.
“We’re treating this season like now we have a chip on our shoulder. We are the underdogs … they don’t seem to be speaking about us, and that is effective. You realize, we would slightly be below the radar,” stated Davis.
The Lakers didn’t make the playoffs final season, with Davis lacking 42 video games as a result of knee and ankle accidents.
Davis admitted his struggles however vowed to be extra aggressive heading into this 12 months.
“Be extra aggressive. I began getting in my very own head lots final 12 months. I do not assume lots of people know that … Simply realizing how significantly better I may have been.”
