How difficult was the transition to the NBA and having to evolve your recreation? Georges Niang: I had to completely change my game. I had to ensure that I was making corner threes and not allowing my opponent to score on me. In school, I may carry the ball up, spin, dribble, pump, faux move, get the ball again, be within the lane, and submit up. Within the NBA, that wasn’t the case in any respect. It was humbling, and many individuals aren’t prepared to be humbled. They’re like, “That is my recreation; you’re not letting me play my recreation?” Nicely, they’re not right here to make amends in your recreation; they’re right here to win video games. -via HoopsHype / January 28, 2024
