Maroon Women’s Tennis Rolls to 9-0 Shutout of North Central

CHICAGO – The College of Chicago ladies’s tennis group blasted previous North Central School 9-0 on Friday evening.

The No. 1-ranked Maroons saved their good report intact at 11-0. The Cardinals fell to 17-2.

UChicago swept the three doubles bouts by scores of 8-3, 8-1 and 8-1. Singles was equally lopsided because the Maroons captured all six singles spots in straight units. Nicole Geller and Brooke Pedersen solely surrendered one recreation every of their wins at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Shianna Guo solely allowed two video games at No. 2 singles (6-2, 6-0) whereas Claudia Ng restricted her No. 6 opponent to 3 video games (6-3, 6-0).

Sylwia Mikos, Guo, Ng, Geller and Pedersen every picked up victories in each singles and doubles. Miranda Yuan prevailed at No. 5 singles whereas Perene Wang mixed with Ng at No. 2 doubles for the short win.
