NEW YORK, N.Y. – The College of Chicago girls’s soccer workforce dropped a 2-1 highway determination at New York College on Friday.
The Maroons fell to 7-8-1 total and 0-4-1 within the College Athletic Affiliation (UAA). The Violets improved to 7-3-5 (1-3-1 UAA).
NYU jumped out to a 2-0 lead early after scoring within the tenth and thirteenth minutes. UChicago halved the deficit with senior Hannah Rittenhouse‘s eighth purpose of the season within the sixty fourth minute. Nevertheless, the Violets held onto their lead for the remaining sport time.
The hosts led photographs 8-6 whereas nook kicks have been even at 3-3. Sophomore goalkeeper Sophie Pilarski took the loss with three saves and two objectives allowed.
