Xavier Johnson’s arrest in early April for reckless driving and resisting regulation enforcement was resolved in courtroom on Tuesday, in line with Dustin Dopirak of The Herald-Instances.
Per Dopirak, “Johnson pled responsible this morning to reckless driving, a Class C misdemeanor, and can obtain a 60-day suspended sentence, 360 days of unsupervised probation and 50 hours of neighborhood service. The felony cost of resisting regulation enforcement with a automobile was dismissed.”
According to court records, Johnson was represented by lawyer Joseph Lozano. He was additionally ordered to pay courtroom prices of $185.50.
Johnson was arrested for reckless driving and resisting regulation enforcement early within the morning on Sunday, April 3.
Following the arrest, Indiana launched the next assertion: “Indiana College Athletics and the boys’s basketball program are conscious of the costs involving Xavier Johnson. IU Athletics will proceed to collect information, cooperate with and monitor the authorized course of, and take additional motion because the evolving state of affairs warrants.”
Mike Woodson has not commented publicly on Johnson’s arrest.
