World no.2 Novak Djokovic received a free move into the Wimbledon semifinals on Wednesday when his quarterfinal opponent, Alex de Minaur, withdrew with a hip harm.
The Australian introduced he was pulling out of the match hours earlier than he and Djokovic had been scheduled to play one another at Centre Courtroom.
On Friday, Novak will compete within the Wimbledon semifinals in opposition to Italian participant Lorenzo Musetti (25). Musetti secured his place within the semifinals after an exciting five-set victory over American Taylor Fritz (13) within the quarterfinals.
