Races on Saturdays had been an enormous a part of my highschool season. For some cause, we’d compete at many small relays and a few huge meets too. I recall the King Metropolis Invitational as being a giant one in my period. I ran a 2-mile with about 40 runners in it. The successful time was simply over 9 minutes and I ran my PB that day of 10:26.9, which put me in about thirtieth place.
Large races would get me psyched up, how about you?
